Case study:
Voyages Lost Cameleer Car Rally

'The Lost Cameleer Car Rally' was a three-day car rally from Alice Springs to Uluru. The event was designed to showcase Voyages Hotels & Resorts properties in the region to clients and journalists.

Activities each day ranged from solving riddles, finding clues and participating in activities to find the lost cameleer . After bribing police, eating witchetty grubs, coming up with limericks and driving over 500 kilometres, the lost cameleer and his camels were found at the Lost Camel Hotel at Ayers Rock Resort.

Highlights including being served ice-cold champagne from a black tie waiter in the middle of Ormiston Gorge and the Sounds of Silence dinner at Uluru.

Andi,-Rudy,-Monika Zest Events has been in operation since 1998.

Managing Director Andi Mether has been in the event industry since 1992. Since then she has worked on exhibitions & trade fairs, designed nightclubs and site-managed refurbishments, designed and built props, designed exhibitions, developed concepts and produced events.

Before starting her own business, Andi worked for companies including Thompson World Trade Exhibitions (now Reed Exhibitions), Modern Miracle and DesignTroupe (now George P. Johnson).

In addition to being an event producer, she is a qualified exhibition designer (B.A. Design, specialising in Exhibition & Display).

She is also the founder & creator of Chalk Urban Art Festival. The idea was born in 2001 and after much perseverance she was able to get 'Chalk' on the ground in 2005. In 2008 she was presented with the Sydney Harbour Week Artist Award for Chalk Urban Art Festival (pictured right with Monika Diak and Rudy Kistler).

Her passion for brainstorming ideas and bringing them to life has earned her the nickname 'Ms Zesty'. In addition to producing events and coming up with creative ideas she also consults to organisations on how to improve their events.

Andi leads a team of professionals providing event, marketing and artistic services to clients throughout Australia and overseas.
