Incentives / Team Building

VOYAGES CAMEL CUP

Voyages Hotels & Resorts sponsored the Camel Cup in Alice Springs. Zest worked with the PR Manager to activate the sponsorship, increase branding and entertain VIP guests from around the country. Australian actor Gary Sweet was special guest participating in the festivities and mingling with guests.

Following Voyages Camel Cup, guests embarked on the 'The Lost Cameleer Car Rally' a three-day car rally from Alice Springs to Uluru. The event was designed to showcase Voyages Hotels & Resorts' properties in the region to clients and journalists. Voyages- Lost-Cameleer-Car-Rally

Activities each day ranged from solving riddles, finding clues and participating in activities to find the lost cameleer. After bribing police, eating witchetty grubs, coming up with limericks and driving over 500 kilometres, the lost cameleer and his camels were found at the Lost Camel Hotel at Ayers Rock Resort.

Highlights included being served ice-cold champagne from a black tie waiter in the middle of a deserted Ormiston Gorge and the Sounds of Silence dinner at Uluru - these made the trip memorable and had guests talking long after the event.

Twinings-Melb-Flower-Show

Exhibitions & Sponsorship Activation

TWININGS @ The Melbourne Flower Show

When Twinings sponsored the Melbourne Flower Show, Zest worked with IMPACT Communications to come up with a unique way to engage visitors. Using Twinings Tea sachets Zest made origami flowers to create a Summer, Autumn, Winter theme. An on-stand competition was run whereby 6 visitors were selected each day to enjoy 'high tea' with celebrated gardeners from the Chelsea Flower Show in the UK.

Zest had designed and built Twinings' exhibition stand a couple of years beforehand. The modular design included a kitchen, lounge area and sales area. The stand had previously been set up at the Good Food Shows in Sydney and Melbourne and The Millinery Show at Flemington Racecourse. The floral theme revitalised the stand and created a talking point amongst visitors.

Experiential Marketing

Swann Insurance - 'Operation Blackbird'

Secret agents were sent out to 200 car dealerships around Australia to entice dealers to participate in the Swann Insurance Motor Vehicle Insurance Program.

One week prior dealers were sent a letter giving them a numerical code and telling them to expect a delivery within the next 5 days. It was vital that the dealers signed on with Swann by July 13, therefore the dealers were specifically instructed not to open the package before July 11.

Secret agents handcuffed to metallic briefcases delivered the cases to their new owners. Inside the briefcases was a 'Mission Impossible' style recording with specific instructions, information on the offer and a silver pen to sign the papers. All briefcases were opened by July 11 and signed papers were delivered by July 13.

Three hundred people attended the awards and enjoyed a sumptuous three-course meal in luxurious surroundings. The fashions were outstanding and were outshone only by the jewelery which were incredible works of art.
