We have a range of team building activities available and can also customise specific workshops to meet your needs. Indigenous Workshops
Gary Jagamarra provides a number of indigenous inspired team building workshops. His 'Walkabout' workshop which is mentioned above is an inspiring and unique workshop that encourages people to trust their instincts and work as a team with the people around them. Gary also teaches bush survival techniques. Participants develop their skills of observation and learn how to identify things that will help them to survive in the bush. His art and performance workshops are engaging and fun. Participants learn traditional stories from Indigenous Australian culture as they create their own indigenous artworks, or interpret those stories into a performance piece with Gary's guidance. 'Chalk Off'
'Chalk-Off’ Participants are divided into groups that work together to produce artworks. The workshop begins with a demonstration and then groups brainstorm their concept and produce a great work of art. Time is restricted, which brings a bit more excitement to the competition. Our Artists are on hand with tips and ideas. The class ends with each group explaining their image. To have a bit more fun, sometimes we’ve had the groups interpret each other’s images before explaining their own. Some creative designs and quirky idea's emerge as the teams come together to communicate their vision. Art Workshops
Zest offers a number of Art Therapy workshops for corporates that allow staff members to release their creative energies. Our artists work with participants to build confidence and have fun. A genuine connection will be made between participants that lead to expressive artworks that can be hung in the office or taken home. A variety of canvas sizes are available to suit your work space. Cartooning
Zest Artist Julie Doye is available to conduct cartooning workshops. The workshops can be completed on a range of surfaces; ie, canvas, pavement, paper etc. Once the basics are out of the way, Julie will assist group members to create their own artworks. The group can work to a similar theme or image, whilst creating their own interpretation of that image. For example, the picture to the right is of 'The Many Faces of Lisa (Simpson)' which interprets the character in a number of different ways. Paint by Numbers
This is a really fun concept that can be used for groups of all sizes. An artist can create a design for your choosing and this will be applied to a larger canvas or object. Then your team can paint by numbers to complete the artwork. When the artwork is completed it can be displayed in your workplace, and pictures can be sent to your employees to remind them of the fun they had. Why not set the wallpaper of all company computers to an image of the artwork the employees came together to complete? Sydney Harbour Hideaway
This exclusive location is available for your team-building or art workshop activities. Situated on Sydney Harbour, this spectacular venue provides the perfect location to get away from the office and relax. To make an enquiry about our venue and workshops click here. |
