Rudy on the Run

Rudy Kistler - Youth Week in Gunnedah - Mushrooms Workshop

Public Winner and Category Finalist
Temporary Gallery's New Art Awards 2011

'Rudy on the Run' is a program we have developed with Artist Rudy Kistler whereby Rudy travels to regional Australia to produce 3D / anamorphic perspective artworks, conduct workshops and produce permanent murals. The image shown here is from a workshop Rudy conducted in Gunnedah, NSW as part of Youth Week.

The program is fun, educational and engaging. People are inspired by the works Rudy produces, they love to watch the process and then become part of the work themselves. Each artwork is unique, the scale of Rudy's artworks range from huge to quite small, each piece is highly interactive, full of colour, and thought-provoking.

Pirates of the Caribbean 'On Stranger Tides' DVD launch

Jenny McCracken - Pirates of the Caribbean

Zest worked with agency Porter-Novelli to promote the launch of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film 'On Stranger Tides'. Australia's Champion Pavement Artist Jenny McCracken produced the anamorphic perspective artwork.

The promotion was held at Melbourne Central. Our photographer Ross Bird took fantastic shots of the public engaging in the artwork which were then uploaded to Facebook.

"The 3D chalk art installation developed as part of our campaign for Walt Disney Studios was truly amazing. The level of detail that went into the project was fantastic, and the outcome was even better. Thank you Zest Events for being so helpful and attentive during the process - it was great fun!" Briony Carland, Porter Novelli Melbourne

Haier @ Good Food & Wine Show

Anton Pulivirenti - Haier at Good Food & Wine Show

How do you make a fridge cool? That was the challenge Fisher & Paykel issued for the Good Food & Wine Show.

The solution? A virtual food fight! People flocked to Haier's exhibition stand in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide & Brisbane to have their photo taken in our interactive artwork.

The promotion attracted audiences and was heaps of fun without the mess. Haier sent images to visitors after each show.

Let's Live Better with Shannon & Michelle

Simon Thomas - Let's Live Better with Shannon and Michelle

One in four Australian children is obese by the time they turn 18.

The health crisis has motivated The Biggest Loser personal trainers to take on their biggest challenge yet – turn Australian children into the world’s healthiest kids.

This year, Shannan and Michelle will continue their work as ambassadors for Let’s Live Better, an exciting community initiative that will take the healthy living message to more than 300 schools across Australia.

Let’s Live Better is a program from Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) shopping centres in partnership with the Children’s Food Education Foundation (CFEF) aimed at educating children about how to “live better” by encouraging them to include fresh foods in their diet and to exercise regularly.

Zest worked with WA company Magenta on this campaign. Three chalk board images were produced by Simon Thomas for Shannon & Michelle's photo shoot.

Ground Support in Tropical North Queensland

TNQ - Snorkelling

Zest has opened a new office in Cairns and is now providing 'ground support' to the Conference & Incentives market in Tropical North Queensland.

Senior Producer of Live Experiences Andi Mether said "We've been lucky to produce events all over the country, now it's time to set up in one of our favourite locations and show the world what the Tropical North has to offer and make it easier for organisations to produce events here."

Just a few benefits include: space to think and breathe, 5-star conference facilities, beautiful scenery and a wide range of activities in the city, the reef, the rainforest and in the Tablelands. There's something for everyone to enjoy.

Australian Bureau of Statistics - Census Recruitment Drive

ABS - Census 2011

Zest Events worked with the Australian Bureau of Statistics to plan an event in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall to raise community and media awareness of 43,000 job opportunities created by the 2011 Census of Population and Housing.

Following a spate of disasters across the country, including cyclones, floods and bushfires, it was critical for us to hold an event that would shed some light on the Census with a point of difference – creating a unique, engaging and thought-provoking 3D chalk art concept to generate buzz.

The Artist, Jenny McCracken, was great to work with, from concept development through to its execution. Jenny was happy to answer questions from spectators and the media, helping our team on the ground to spread the word.

The guerilla marketing event not only allowed us to engage with the community in an unobtrusive manner, it also allowed us to generate online video content for our campaign social media platforms, providing the opportunity to turn viral and ensure a national reach (generally restricted by geography when hosting a traditional event). The online videos also provided longevity for the lengthy campaign period, and have returned a measurable result on our initial investment.

The event and our online presence, teamed with a strategic above the line campaign has returned overwhelming results for the Australian Bureau of Statistics recruitment drive and ensured we’re off to a positive start for the 2011 Census, filling local jobs with local people.

Thank you to the entire team at Zest Events! Andrew Sillis, Census Public Relations

March 2010 - 'ONE HUNDRED' @ MITCHELL LIBRARY, SLNSW

slnsw1

Zest Artists Anton Pulvirenti and Rudy Kistler completed a 9m x 14m 3-D Illusion to promote the exhibition 'ONE Hundred' for the State Library of NSW. The artwork is situated next to the Matthew Flinders statue outside Mitchell Library in Macquarie Street, Sydney.

ONE Hundred is a free exhibition which celebrates the centenary of the Mitchell Library. Zest Events worked with the Library to provide something unique for the launch of this amazing exhibition of Australian history. The result: an enormous optical illusion that brought some of the Library’s incredible collection, books, maps and surprising objects to life in a unique and engaging way.

This is the largest 3D Pavement Artwork that has been completed in NSW. The artwork rivals the works of Artists Julian Beever and Edgar Mueller who have both established themselves as popular pavement artists around the world.

March 2010 - CGU @ AMInstitute Conference, Canberra

cgu-canberra-stand-1

CGU sponsored AMInstitute's Conference & Exhibition in Canberra this year. Zest was brought on board to manage CGU's involvement in the Conference, including managing their exhibition stand and Young Achiever Awards.

Zest designed the modular exhibition stand last year, it has been specifically designed to adapt to different sizes. The panels are interchangeable allowing for modification rather than a total rebuild at future events.

CGU had delegates lining up to visit the stand, engaging delegates with opportunities to win the 'Lucky Key Competition' and providing a space to chill out and network at their stand.

March 2010 - CGU @ Old Parliament House, Canberra

CGU clients were treated to a night of luxury with special guest Grace Knight.

The event was held at the picturesque Old Parliament House. Cocktails were served as the sun set behind New Parliament House, and when guests moved inside they were entertained by a surprise appearance by Keith Scott (the man of a thousand voices) who impersonated politicians throughout Australian history.

The sultry tones of Grace Knight and her band created the perfect atmosphere for conversation and dancing, and overall the evening delivered a fantastic opportunity for CGU & their clients to network and to let their hair down.
